Following a successful Inspection, the system is then Regas with R134 refrigerant. Included in the vehicle air conditioning Regas R134 Service is the application of a deep vacuum to remove spent gases and moisture. A vacuum leak test follows this before regassing the R134 system with the correct weighed out measure of R134 refrigerant gas, oil top up and UltraViolet dye. The vehicle air conditioner is regas with R134 to the manufacture specifications. Then the vehicle air conditioning system is comprehensively re-tested to check the overall performance. Finally, we back our work with a three month Gas Warranty only when Keepin’ Cool replaces any parts.
Please note that Keepin’ Cool DO NOT offer an air conditioner Regas Only Service. All customers must accept the Car Air conditioning Inspection Service and only after a successful Inspection; you will get your vehicle air conditioning Regas. Unlike other air conditioning Service workshops, we do not subscribe to adding to global warming or breaking the law by re-gassing any leaking or defective vehicle air conditioning systems. Please act responsibly and make sure that your system is tested and fit for purpose.
Typically speaking, you should plan to have your car air conditioning regas every 1.5-2 years. Not opting for an air conditioning regas is going to leave your unit not putting out the cold air that it should. But having a car air conditioning regas is a simple fix that will have your vehicle feeling cool once again. And the good news is that you don’t have to leave your house or workplace to have it done.
Keepin’ Cool serves the entire Brisbane Southside suburbs with mobile car air conditioning regas services for your vehicle. We can come out to your place of employment or your home and do your vehicle air conditioning regas while you take care of other things. The process will take 30-45 minutes and is affordable and effective.
Note: It is illegal for anyone to Re-Charge/Regas a R134 refrigerant vehicle air conditioning system with a known leak
