Hyundai Highlander AC Hose Replacement
Recently we replaced the Air Conditioning Hose on a Hyundai Highlander.
This Hyundai Highlander was booked in for a mobile regas service with us. The owner had complained that the air conditioning wasn’t cooling enough. After the performance and leak testing of the aircon system, we discovered the air conditioning hose was leaking. It can be a common fault on the Hyundai Highlander aircon hose.
Once we replaced the Hyundai Highlander AC Hose and completed the air conditioning service which includes a deep vacuum to remove spent gases and moisture. A vacuum leak test follows this before regassing. We then regas the Hyundai Highlander air conditioner to the manufacture specifications.
Oil is top up as well as UltraViolet dye installed. Finally, the air conditioning system is comprehensively re-tested to check the overall performance. Now the Hyundai Highlander has icy cold air conditioning once again.
CAR AIR CONDITIONER HOSE REPAIR
Car air conditioner hoses can be very costly to replace. The problem is that in most cases, it’s just the hose that is leaking and there is no reason to have to replace the entire hose assembly.
One of the most common areas for a car air conditioner hose to leak is at the rubber hose section, and usually right at the hose ferrule crimp. So why not just replace the part of the tube that’s leaking?
Keepin’ Cool can restore 95% of original car air conditioner hose. If the metal (aluminium/steel/ copper/brass) is in reasonably good shape, we can replace the rubber hose and repair any holes or cracks in the metal.
Keepin Cool can custom make car air conditioner hose to any length.
We have an extensive range of auto air-con hose fittings all kinds of sizes and configurations.
