    Keepin Cool Auto Air Conditioning’s Terms & Conditions

    By using this website (https://keepincool.com.au), including making a booking for service or repairs to your vehicle, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

    These Terms apply to your use of this website operated by Keepin Cool Auto Air Conditioning (“Keepin Cool”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and to any communications, bookings, or services made through the website.

    If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or book our services.

     

    Agreement and Interpretation

    • Customer means the person or entity requesting services.
    • Repairer refers to Keepin Cool Auto Air Conditioning.
    • Works refers to all repair and maintenance services and parts provided.
    • Parts means any parts installed, repaired, or modified during the Works.
    • Prescribed Terms are warranties that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
    • Warranty Period: 12 months labour / 6 months for commercial vehicles; parts as per manufacturer.

     

    Authorisation for Works

    By requesting service, you authorise Keepin Cool to:

    • Inspect, move, drive, test, install, or remove parts from your vehicle.
    • Complete the Works deemed necessary.

    Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise noted. Prices include GST. You may not cancel authorised Works unless we agree.

     

    Estimates and Payment

    • All work estimates will be discussed with you before starting.
    • We’ll seek your approval if extra costs arise during the job.
    • Payment is due upon completion via cash, EFTPOS, Visa or Master (1% fee). Personal cheques are not accepted.

     

    Payment Upon Completion

    • The vehicle will be released only after full payment.
    • Interest may apply to overdue invoices (ANZ bank benchmark rate + 2%).
    • Inspection of works is your responsibility before payment.
    • Work completion dates are estimates only.

     

    Lien and Title

    • Keepin Cool holds a lien over the vehicle until full payment is made.
    • Ownership of parts remains with us until paid for in full.

     

    Limitation of Liability

    • Our liability is limited to repairing/replacing faulty parts/labour during the warranty period.
    • We are not liable for towing, delivery, or third-party repair costs unless pre-approved.
    • No warranty on second-hand parts.
    • Certain rights under Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded.

     

    Subcontracting and Indemnity

    • We may subcontract services where needed.
    • All protections in these Terms extend to our staff and contractors.

     

    Vehicle Registration Responsibility

    • You must notify us if your vehicle is unregistered.
    • You indemnify us for any liability from operating an unregistered vehicle if not disclosed.

     

    Warranty & Guarantee

    1. Warranty
      • 12 months on labour (6 months for commercial vehicles).
      • Parts as per manufacturer.
      • Valid only for original customer.
      • Excludes damage from misuse, third-party repairs, or unauthorised modifications.
    2. Guarantee
      • Services will be provided to a professional standard using quality parts.
      • If not, we’ll fix the issue at no extra cost within the coverage period.
    3. Exclusions
      • No coverage for third-party interference or misuse.
      • Warranty voided by unauthorised repairs or alterations.
      • No liability for indirect or consequential loss.
    4. Claims Procedure
      • Notify Keepin Cool in writing within the warranty period.
      • We will assess and carry out any valid rectifications at our cost.

     

    Manufacturer Extended Warranties

    Some manufacturer warranties may restrict third-party servicing. It is your responsibility to confirm that using Keepin Cool does not void your coverage.

     

    General Conditions

    • No variations to these terms are valid unless agreed in writing.
    • Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our rights.
    • Only written agreements from authorised Keepin Cool staff are binding.
    • These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

     

    Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once published on our website. Continued use of our services signifies your agreement to the latest version.
